About Us

Marwood Equestrian was established in 2007 by Sarah Tubbs, who is both a Level 4 British Showjumping Coach and a Coach Educator for British Showjumping. Her goal has been to provide the highest standards of training from her base just outside Barnard Castle and to continue to develop both the facilities on offer and the quality of the training available to help her clients achieve their goals, whether they be to gain confidence jumping small fences or attain success at National or International levels.

Located just ten minutes from the A66 and easily accessible via the A1 and the M6, Marwood Equestrian is situated two miles outside the market town of Barnard Castle and has good access for HGVs as well as smaller horseboxes and trailers with a large car park adjacent to the arena.

We offer training for all levels of horse and rider.
